Understanding the output of the open graph checker tool:

In the column entitled “tag name” you’ll see the name of the meta tags present on the site and in the column entitled “value”, you’ll see the value of the meta tags.

og:locale:

For most websites, you’ll get to see the “og:locale” meta tag. This tag tells us about the language your webpage is on. If the value is reported to be ‘en_US”, it means the main content of the website is written in US English.

og:type:

This meta tag is used to specify the type of the content. You’ll most likely see the og:type to be reported as either article or website or blog post, etc.

og:title:

The og:title meta tag reports the title of the web page to the social media bots. Based on the inputs, this may or may not be the same as the original (meta) title of the site.

og:description:

The open graph description tag contains a description of the piece of content the tag was generated for. The open graph checker tool will show you the complete description as is in the tag, but for best accessibility, limit it within 200 characters.

og:url:

The og:url tag basically outputs the URL of the webpage you just inputted.

og:site_name:

The og:site_name tag will report the name of the website

og:image:

You’ll find the link to the image in this section. Generally open graph meta tags contain just 1 image tag, however if your webpage has multiple og:image tag, you’ll see them all here.

og:image:secure_url:

If your site uses HTTPS, you’ll find the HTTPS link in this section. If your site’s settings force visitors to load pages on HTTPS, the og:image:secure_url will be the same as reported by the og:image tag.

og:image:width & og:image:height:

These 2 sections will report the width and height of the given image respectively.

og:image :type

You’ll find the type of image in this section. If the image reported previously is in PNG format, it’ll show as “image/png”.
