Site title:

The meta title tag informs search engines about the title of your webpage. In the meta title generator you have to put the title of your page. You should always keep the title under 60 characters, else the excess part will be cropped by the search engine.

The moment you start typing in the site title section, it will show how many characters are left before you pass the 60-character limit.

Site description:

Site description provides information about what the webpage is about. Summarize the whole content of your website or make an extract if you are posting a blog post on that page and put the summary in the site description.

The ideal length of the meta description is between 120 - 150 characters. Anything greater than that will not reflect in the search engine results page.

Just like page title, for page description too there is a counter in the tool that informs you about the number of remaining characters in the description.

For the best results you MUST include your main keyword in the site title and site description using the meta title and description generator. For primary keyword in the description, it’s always better to include that at the beginning.

Site keywords:

Allow robots to index your website?

Search engines have different bots (robots) that index the website. For example: Google has Googlebot desktop that indexes the desktop mode of a site while the Googlebot smartphone indexes the smartphone mode of a site.

If you want these bots to index your site and show them in the search results, you should select “Yes” or else if you don’t want the robots to index your site and want to keep your site private, select “No”.

Opting for yes in the list doesn’t guarantee that your page will definitely get indexed. It’s up to the bots to index your site, which indeed depends on various other factors.
